State and Local Governments VCHP has assisted state agencies and local governments with projects involving Federal funding or requiring a Federal permit. Among other architectural and evaluation projects, we have completed historic preservation plans for two university campuses in New Mexico, a statewide survey of historic highway bridges for the NMDOT, and a survey and identification project of a former World War II Army Airfield as part of an industrial redevelopment initiative for the City of Hobbs, New Mexico. The latter also resulted in an award-winning public history booklet.
